Fusionskin® Ceramic 5+ 100ml

Our coating "Ceramic 5+" is a covalent surface coating, which was developed to protect painted, foiled or powdered surfaces optimally and permanently. Like all Fusionskin products, we have developed, produced and thoroughly tested the sealant 100% in Germany!

Ceramic 5+ forms a wafer-thin anti-stick layer. This is extremely stain resistant, resilient and hard. It also extremely deepens the gloss and color of the paint surface.

Our products bond chemically (covalently) with the surface and lay over the paint pores. After curing, they form a high-gloss protective layer. This very simple way of surface optimization protects the paint from damage such as oxidation, salt, acids and insects. This makes it virtually impossible for dirt to adhere to the surface, which also makes cleaning extremely easy.

Even if you wash your vehicle only by hand, after some time corresponding signs of wear (micro scratches) will appear. If your vehicle is sealed with our Ceramic 5+, these are minimized and the paint surface is sustainably protected.

Preparation:
There must be an almost perfectly prepared and degreased (free of any polish residues) paint / film surface. The ambient temperature should ideally be between 20 and 30 degrees.
In general, the preparation process does not differ from conventional / known coating substrates.

Application:
Important: NO multi-layer process possible.
The substrate, whether "Ceramic 3+" or "Ceramic 5+" is applied sparingly and carefully with an application sponge or microfiber pad to the surface to be sealed in a so-called cross motion. The corresponding surfaces are first coated horizontally and then vertically. The amount of substrate can be varied in the application - however, there must be no dripping at the edges.

Finishing / rubbing off:
Ceramic 3+: service life 3-7 years / Ceramic 5+: service life 5-15 years
After approx. 2 - 4 minutes (at 20 degrees approx. 4 minutes, at 30 degrees approx. 2 minutes), gently rub the freshly sealed area with a microfiber cloth until a homogeneous surface is created (rub the sealant into the surface, so to speak). Then wipe with a 2nd clean microfiber cloth. Do not mix up the cloths in the repeat process (it is best to use different colored cloths).
Irregularities in the layer thickness can lead to a "rainbow effect" on the surface and must be reworked immediately.

Curing:
The vehicle should not be exposed to the environment for at least 12 hours after sealing. Protect the sealant from physical influences for at least 7 days.
